Each animal is carved by hand and outlined with a gold pen, inspired by traditional Chinese art and seal aesthetics.
A personal symbol
Choose the animal connected to your birth year, or give a meaningful birthday or Lunar New Year gift.
Not sure which animal is yours?
Enter your birth date and discover your Chinese zodiac animal on this page.
We use Li Chun (Beginning of Spring), rather than January 1 or Lunar New Year, as the zodiac-year boundary. Use the calculator above to check your birth date. If you were born on the Li Chun transition date, your birth time may affect the result.
The Twelve Zodiac Plaques
Each piece carries a zodiac animal on the front and its traditional Earthly Branch on the reverse.
Choose Your Edition
Every zodiac animal is available in two ways to make the meaning feel personal.
Made for everyday connection
Hand carved from reclaimed lightning struck jujube wood, outlined in gold and ready to wear, carry or display.
A deeper ceremonial experience
Includes cinnabar dotting and a Taoist blessing ritual before dispatch. Offered as a cultural and spiritual experience for personal reflection.
No trees cut for production
We reuse jujube wood struck by lightning or naturally damaged by the elements, giving it a second life through traditional handcraft.
The symbol on the reverse
The back carries the traditional Earthly Branch for each animal and a seal inspired by the Yangping Zhidu Gong Seal, a historic Taoist ritual seal associated with the Ming Dynasty.
Questions Before You Choose?
Clear answers for first time buyers and thoughtful gift givers.
What if I was born in January or February?
The Chinese zodiac follows the Lunar New Year rather than January 1. Use our calculator to check the exact zodiac year for your birth date.
Is a zodiac plaque a good gift?
Yes. It is a personal gift for birthdays, Lunar New Year, graduations and new beginnings because it connects the recipient with their birth year symbol.
Are the plaques guaranteed talismans?
They are handcrafted cultural objects for reflection and connection to Chinese tradition. Traditional associations are not guarantees of luck, wealth, health or a specific result.
