Each plaque is made from reclaimed jujube wood that has been struck by lightning or naturally damaged by the elements. No trees are cut down for production. Instead, we carefully reuse wood that would otherwise be discarded, giving it a second life as a meaningful piece of traditional art.

What is the plaque made from, and how is it crafted?
Each plaque is made from reclaimed jujube wood marked by lightning or natural weathering. No trees are cut down specifically for production; the wood is given a second life through traditional handcraft.
An experienced traditional artisan hand carves the zodiac motif, then traces the design by hand with a gold pen. The carving and gold detailing draw on Chinese zodiac art and the visual language of traditional seals.
Will my plaque look exactly like the photos?
No two plaques are identical. Your piece will have its own grain, colour and small variations in carving and gold detailing.
Natural knots, fine cracks and surface marks may be part of the reclaimed wood’s character. Photos illustrate the design and overall style, rather than an identical pattern of wood grain or markings.
